REFUND AND RETURN POLICY
Shipping Policy
All of our prices do not include shipping. All Labels and Signage will be shipped “FLAT FEE,” which means it can be through U.P.S., FedEx, USPS, or Company Truck. Depending on what was discussed or the option you chose at checkout. Bulky items such as Guard Rails, Flue Keepers, Back Stops, and Riser Guards will be shipped freight unless prior arrangements have been made.
Please call regarding special shipping arrangements such as COMPANY TRUCK DELIVERY OR EXPEDITE SHIPPING. Orders are accepted from anywhere in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Orders over 150 lbs. will be shipped truck freight.
Shipment to a business address varies depending on location.
Residential delivery is extra.
There is no C.O.D. available on freight shipments.
There is a $50.00 crating fee if you have your own shipping company pick up the shipment.
Damaged Shipments:
FOR LABELS and SIGNAGE: Damaged Labels and Signage will be replaced by the FIRE SAFETY GUYS. Do not ship Labels or Signage back without an R.M.A. Please call us immediately or within 5 business days. Any orders not disputed within the 5 business days will not be replaced, so please check your signs and labels when you receive your shipments.
FOR BULKY ITEMS SHIPPED VIA FREIGHT: All shipments are insured. Damage claims must be made with the freight company. Do not return damaged merchandise to THE FIRE SAFETY GUYS without proper arrangements and an R.M.A.
Return Policy
CUSTOM OR SPECIAL ORDERS: Custom labels, signage, special order items, or any that have been altered or damaged will not be accepted. All SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS AND CUSTOM SIGNAGE ARE “FINAL”. PLEASE CHECK YOUR PLANS AND CHOOSE THE CORRECT HEIGHTS, WEIGHTS, and COMMODITIES.
Returned merchandise is subject to a 30% restocking fee and the customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Refunds will be in the form of credit. No returns after 30 days. Unused material may not be returned.
Unclaimed Goods:
Any materials, products, or goods not claimed 30 days after completion become the sole property of THE FIRE SAFETY GUYS.
Deposits on Custom Orders: If you place your order over the phone, P.O., or email, we may request a Deposit. That the deposit made on custom ordered products and custom made items are not entitled to a refund. Therefore, any monies given for such orders will not be refunded.
Warranty Policy:
THE FIRE SAFETY GUYS warrants that all of its products are free from defects in material and workmanship, for a period of 30 days. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase. We recommend that you keep your invoice or receipt because proof of purchase date is required. This limited warranty shall only cover the original purchaser.
There Is Absolutely No Warranty On The Following:
a. Any product that has been physically altered, improperly installed, or maintained.
b. Any product used in an improper application, abused, or not used in connection with proper installation.
c. Any product that is defective due to accident, neglect, or has unauthorized modifications.
There is no implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. THE FIRE SAFETY GUYS’ obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of its products. There are no warranties that extend beyond the description on the face of this warranty. THE FIRE SAFETY GUYS will not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages, property damage, or personal damages to the extent permitted by law. If there is, by law, an implied warranty of merchantability and/or fitness, they are limited to the warranty term set forth above and start from the date of the original purchase. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other legal rights, which vary from state to state.
This warranty is subject to the following: FLUE KEEPERS, BACK STOPS, WIRE DECKS, EXIT SIGNS, AND RISER GUARDS. There will be an additional charge for parts that are damaged as a result of items not covered by this warranty.
Please note that all equipment sold by THE FIRE SAFETY GUYS must be installed by a trained professional.
It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure that all of the components are correct before installation. Proper assembly always requires that the installer measure all tolerances for proper clearances. We assume no liability for any errors made in component selection or installer.
