Description
FIRE EXIT DO NOT BLOCK SIGNS
Providing them with an easy route out of the building is always essential for employee safety. However, providing them with a well-illuminated and unobstructed pathway can always be challenging. Two areas that always need work in a warehouse are the Fire Access Doors and egress paths throughout the building.
Use our Fire Exit Do not Block signs to assist employees in keeping all doors clear of pallets, trash cans, or warehouse loading equipment.
FIRE EXITS & EGRESS PATHS
According to the California Fire Code Chapter 10: 1025.2.6.1 Emergency Exit Symbols – say that: The doors shall be identified by a low-location luminous emergency exit symbol complying with NFPA 170.
The exit symbol shall be not less than 4 inches (102 mm) in height and shall be mounted on the door, centered horizontally, with the top of the symbol not higher than 18 inches (457 mm) above the finished floor.
Another way you can provide your workers with an Egress path is by having a bright painted walkway with a minimum of 48-inches in width that leads to the exit doors.
